Raheem Llewellyn

Raheem Llewellyn, better known as Koyote Sunray, is no stranger to the microphone & the stage. Refining his complex & lo-fi aesthetic since early 2009, some of his inspirations are Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson & Stevie Wonder. Spending the first years of his adolescent life in Stamford Connecticut, R&B/Soul was played in his household & would soon be the building blocks that he would build his sound on today. Growing up playing the saxophone, piano & drums, he began to shape a sound. He later moved to Brooklyn, NY and  illustrated what life and experience in the inner city presented him. As just a sophomore in high school the singer, rapper & songwriter would become apart of a boy band soon to be venturing off into a solo career to continue dreams of being a Grammy award winning artist. He found his persona by opening up for acts ranging from Young Thug to Doug E. Fresh. Soaking up the city's heartbeat inspired his name, signifying spiritual growth & reverence to his ancestors who came before him.
